    Pristine Origins

Fine Art Photography by Stacey Sather (24in. x 36in.)
"Pristine Origins" and "Ancient Spring Waters" are companion photographs that explore the quiet resilience and timeless beauty of Florida’s spring-fed ecosystems on the Rainbow River. Created within a secluded, crystal-clear spring creek, these images invite viewers into an environment where the rhythms of the natural world remain largely undisturbed. The pale turquoise water, illuminated by a sandy creek bed and punctuated by ancient spring boils, reveals both movement and stillness. Above, a dense canopy and an intricate network of intertwined roots create a living architecture that softens light, absorbs sound, and evokes a profound sense of sanctuary. Within this immersive landscape, the photographs examine the relationship between pristine waters, memory, and place—where geological time and living ecosystems converge. My work seeks to foster an emotional connection to landscapes that often escape notice until they are threatened. Through careful attention to light, composition, and atmosphere, I invite viewers to slow their gaze and experience these springs not simply as beautiful places, but as living archives of resilience, renewal, and interdependence. In an era of accelerating environmental change, these photographs stand as both celebration and quiet advocacy for the preservation of irreplaceable freshwater ecosystems.
Artwork purchased online can be picked up AFTER the exhibit ends, on or after August 30, 2026 -- or shipped to the buyer (ALL SHIPPING COSTS TO BE PAID BY THE BUYER).
