“Florida’s natural places can be peaceful and contemplative one moment, wonderfully dramatic the next.
Looking out over Styles Creek from the historic covered bridge at Princess Place Preserve, I was drawn to the towering clouds filling the sky and reflected softly in the winding creek below. The drama unfolding overhead felt almost at odds with the peaceful quiet of Princess Place, where the still water, marsh grasses and distant tree line invite you to slow down and simply take it all in.
Presented in black and white, Summer Skies – Princess Place captures that beautiful contradiction: a landscape that feels both dramatic and serene, expansive and intimate, timeless and just a little bit wild.
