  Perfect in its Own Way

  Clay by Sheryl Sherwood (12in. x 12in. x 15in.)

"This wood fired piece represents what can unintentionally happen when we are expecting a symetrical shape, or a perfect life, and it somehow appears misshapen to others. The challenge with this piece is that it experienced firing in a higher than expected heat, thereby changing its shape and allowing us to see and feel its mishapen body and the cracks that formed,,,much like life's experiences feel like to us. From its shape you would think it weak, however it is very strong, and is perfect in its own way."

Artwork purchased online can be picked up AFTER the exhibit ends, on or after November 29, 2026 -- or shipped to the buyer (ALL SHIPPING COSTS TO BE PAID BY THE BUYER).
