    "The tide pool is what remains of the receding tide: a representation of the ocean itself. Multitudes of sea creatures thrive in the shallows awaiting the next incoming tide; living in a transient state of flux. This wood-fired piece represents the fragility of the ocean’s edge; a waiting and wanting for what is to come and the peace that the ocean itself brings."
