    Tangled

Fiber, Plastic, Acrylic by Roseanne Engelhardt (13in. x 16in.)
"I am a process-oriented artist deeply interested in construction, texture, material reuse, and the application of paint to unconventional substrates. This piece began with tassel clippings from an old rug, which I adhered to paper to create a textured foundation. I then intertwined leftover strips of plastic and thread throughout the surface, securing them to the substrate before applying layers of paint. The resulting work explores the intersections of line and space, while allowing the paint to respond to and reveal the physical qualities of the constructed surface. Through the reuse of discarded materials, I am interested in transforming remnants of everyday objects into a new visual language—one that emphasizes process, material, and the unexpected interactions that emerge through making."

  • The Key to Happiness

    The Key to Happiness

Acrylic Painting by Judy Bloom (12in. x 12in.)
"The Key to Happiness Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the Florida Keys, The Key to Happiness captures that unmistakable feeling of freedom found where the sky meets the sea. Towering tropical clouds roll across an endless blue sky, reflected in the vibrant turquoise waters below, while a quiet island shoreline anchors the scene. For me, the Florida Keys represent more than a destination. They embody a state of mind: slowing down, breathing deeply, and finding joy in the simple beauty of nature. The brilliant blues, shifting clouds, and sparkling water invite us to leave the noise of everyday life behind and simply be present. Sometimes, the key to happiness isn’t something we find. It’s a place, a moment, and the freedom to appreciate it."

  • The Silent Muse

    The Silent Muse

Acrylic on Canvas by Margarita Orlova (16in. x 24in.)
"The Silent Muse” is a work about beauty, inspiration, and emotion. I was inspired by Botticelli, and through his art, by the belief that true inspiration comes from God. I wanted to express that feeling in my own way, through contemporary abstract painting."

  • Mysterious Traveler

    Mysterious Traveler

    Wood/Stone/Mixed Media Sculpture by Ron Vellucci (16in. x 16in.)
"Mysterious Traveler was inspired by the jazz band Weather Report’s 1974 album and my fascination with space. As one of my ongoing jukebox series of sculptures inspired by music, the piece captures the mystery and tension between the vastness of space and the human impulse to track, measure, and to understand the unknown, the mysterious. Set within a celestial, circular frame, the composition is made of maple burl, mahogany, pink granite and aluminum, and relies on the arrangement and interplay of the organic elements and textures to suggest an object possessing powerful energy. Precise border overlays of purpleheart create tracking markers, while fir, brass, copper, and silver elements suggest other interstellar bodies. Together, these elements and details combine to create a dramatic, tactile image of an approaching mysterious object."
