  "We the People" are the opening words of the United States Constitution's Preamble written in 1787. "We the People" affirms that the government is of the people, by the people and for the people. This artwork is of three people of different ages and different skin colors who are embraced within the American Flag in a symbolic gesture. America's history is woven into a rich tapestry of many colors which have created a beautiful and unique democracy of which we should all feel proud.
