“This contemporary impressionist still life represents a turning point in my artistic journey. I have painted this same subject several times, exploring it through different styles and approaches. With this version, I began embracing a more spontaneous and expressive way of painting—allowing bold color, energetic brushwork, and intuitive choices to guide the process.
While grounded in the principles and techniques I have learned over the years, this painting gave me the freedom to loosen up, experiment, and trust my instincts. Rather than focusing on perfect representation, I wanted to capture the feeling, light, color, and energy of the moment. This painting opened the door to a new direction in my work—one where structure and spontaneity can exist together.”
