“I tried capturing the lushness of Florida’s fauna through this impressionistic view of palm trees and plants as seen in the Naples Botanical Gardens. Inspired by the tropical landscape, this painting captures a grove of palm trees reaching upward into an expansive blue sky, their forms illuminated by shifting light and vibrant color. Rather than focusing on literal representation, I use bold, gestural brushstrokes and layered hues to convey the energy, movement, and atmosphere of the environment.“
