After working as a lead graphic designer for ten years she dedicated 12 years as a language facilitator at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. Gradually reconnecting with her roots in the visual arts, she began teaching children’s summer camps at the First Coast Cultural Center in Ponte Vedra Beach, where her passion for nurturing young artists flourished. She currently serves as the Visual Arts teacher at The Discovery School in Jacksonville Beach. Having lived in many countries, she finds her greatest joy from watching children explore diverse cultures and weave those influences into their own artistic masterpieces—each piece a reflection of curiosity, identity, and imagination.
Judge’s Statement TBA

Diane Bradley's Bio & Statement:

Diane L. Bradley: BS from SUNY New Paltz & MS from Nazareth College, Rochester, NY. She spent 30 years teaching art in public schools grades 7-12 in Spencerport, NY and many years teaching children & adults in St. Augustine, FL including workshops on creating touchable art. As a member of the St. Augustine Art Association, she served as president for 17 years (retiring 2025) which only enhance her love of Art.
“The Tactile Show is one of my favorites because artists have to come up with different ways of interpreting their work in order to engage the visually impaired. The award winners were selected because they were able to use a variety of textures, materials, soft & hard surfaces, rough & smooth, sound and contrast. It was impressive to see how different artists accomplished this, showing that they truly understood the concept of “Touchable Art.” I have
judged numerous shows over the years and it was a pleasure being asked to judge this Tactile Show.”
