Angel Oak
Mixed Media, Acrylic by Kylie Cummings
(16in. x 24in.)
***Not for Sale***
“My mixed media artwork is a representation of my hometown’s history, and my own. I used this piece to explore the historical significance of picnics held under the Angel Oak Tree, and the community which rallied behind such an important part of South Carolinian abolitionist history. By translating the dense live oak into textured art, I hope to continue its legacy as a rallying point for the disenfranchised.“
Artwork purchased online can be picked up AFTER the exhibit ends, on or after November 1, 2026 — or shipped to the buyer (ALL SHIPPING COSTS TO BE PAID BY THE BUYER).
