Descent into history
$600.00
Acrylic on Panel by Nikki Rakov
(16in. x 20in.)
“Captured from a steep, high-angle perspective, this painting follows a figure descending the narrow interior staircase of an ancient tower along York’s historic city walls. Vibrant washes of cool blues and warm, sunny ochres transform the enclosed stone corridor into a dynamic play of light and structure, drawing the viewer downward step-by-step into centuries of history.“
