“My father was a lighthouse keeper on the Outer Banks years ago. I was influenced by the silent presence of the nautical history that surrounded me when I visited. I’m drawn to the mystery and lore that surrounds the beauty of lighthouses. This piece is my interpretation of the St. Augustine Lighthouse.”
