  "The St. Augustine lighthouse is one of the prettiest lighthouse’s I’ve ever seen. After climbing the 199 cast-iron steps to the top, I decided to paint it. I’ve painted it several times and each time a new thought process is portrayed in different mediums. This painting is a mixture of acrylic paint, acrylic markers and the build up of modeling paste for dimension. The title of this artwork, “ St Augustine Strong” holds true throughout many hurricanes. Our lighthouse will always guide us."
