Out of Place
In-Gallery & Online: January 3 - February 2
Something doesn’t quite look right… trying to fit in, but just not getting footing, social narratives, seemingly unnatural acts of nature, humorous or serious. For this exhibit, artists are encouraged to create images that question the normal, that push the boundaries of what “should” be and build a world of acceptance, letting go of apprehension.

Exhibit Judge: Keith Doles
Keith Doles is a Florida native and his 20+ years of experience working in fine art and graphic design led to his current path as a mentor for younger artists. His body of work includes influences from Cubism, Abstract Expressionism, and Impressionism. Keith earned his Bachelor Fine Arts degree from the University of North Florida and a Master of Arts degree from Webster University. Years later, he became a fine arts instructor for UNF Continuing Education. In 2016, he became a resident artist at the CoRK Arts District in Jacksonville where he maintains his studio practice. Keith’s work has been featured in exhibitions and collections from Florida to New York. His work has been commissioned for interior design and public art projects in Northeast Florida.
