The Oaks That Watch Over Us

$250.00

Pastel on Sanded Paper by Laura Towne
(16in. x 13in.)

Florida oak trees can live for hundreds of years. When we build our houses and cities amongst them, they lend a sense of history, stability, and comfort. These trees are overflowing with character. It often feels that they are watching over us, helping to ground us, and guide us. This pastel was created to highlight the majesty and vibrance of thees beautiful trees that surround all of us here in Saint Augustine.
