“This painting depicts a young lady under a parasol and was created En Plein Air at the Leu Botanical Gardens in Orlando, FL, during one of the Life Painting sessions with a model.
The Gardens showcase a stunning variety of subtropical and tropical plants, with a particular affinity to Camellia plants that bloom during Florida’s cooler months, from fall to spring.
I was captivated by the diverse colors and types of these beautiful blossoms, as well as by the elegance of our model.“
