Whether you’re searching for events in St. Augustine this weekend, St. Augustine events today, or upcoming exhibits and workshops, you’ll find a wide variety of opportunities to experience the creative spirit of the nation’s oldest city. 

As one of the premier St. Augustine museums and galleries, the St. Augustine Art Association hosts year-round art exhibitions, artist receptions, educational workshops, studio sessions, lectures, and special events for visitors and residents alike. Our calendar also features events from participating members of the Art Galleries of St. Augustine (AGOSA), making it a convenient resource for discovering arts-related events throughout the city.

From First Friday Art Walks and juried exhibitions to hands-on art classes and workshops and community celebrations, there is always something happening. Visitors planning a weekend getaway can explore current and upcoming events, while locals can stay connected to the latest opportunities to learn, create, and engage with the arts.

The St. Augustine Art Association is open with free admission Tuesdays – Sundays, 12:00 – 4:00 PM.

When in the Course of Human Events

June 5, 2026-August 2, 2026
A thought-provoking art exhibition that reflects on the enduring legacy, always-evolving meaning, and complex truths of America's founding ideals. Using a variety of media, artists examine the historic document not only as a symbol of liberty but also as a lens through which to share our collective past, present, and future. Artists may submit works in any style or medium.

Annual Honors Show

Fall Members Show

This bi-annual exhibit of STAAA members features a variety of works by emerging, seasoned and professional artists. The artworks encompass a variety of styles, mediums, and subjects.

Tactile Show

October 2, 2026-November 1, 2026
October is National Sensory Processing Awareness Month, and the STAAA is once again hosting the tactile exhibit with the Florida DeafBlind Association and FSDB.

Faces and Figures

February 5, 2027-February 28, 2027
Expressions of the human form bring personality to this exhibit. Drawing studies, formal portraits, everyday life subjects, and other figures are presented in 2D & 3D media.
